Romans 8:28 tells us that “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose.” That is our goal, to continue Jesus’ work as His called out. Part, but not all of that work is to assemble as His children (Hebrews 10:24-25) so we can “provoke” each other to love and good works. There are 52 Biblical passages that teach us to love one another. We do that! And it shows in our Bible classes, our assemblies and our focus on ministries.
Our assemblies are filled full of an energetic love for each other. We sit in a horseshoe so we can see each other. We feel that promotes that family feeling that is obvious when we are together. Our singing is acapella praise to our God, our
Bible classes and teachings in the assembly are interactive, our giving is “as we have been prospered and cheerful” and our ministries center around providing for the homeless and those who have experienced trauma. We take the Lord’s Supper during every assembly in accordance with Paul’s example in Acts 20 where he and his companions stayed extra time in Troas to have the opportunity to break bread with the local called out Christians.
Our current meeting times are 9:30am for Bible Class on Sunday, 10:30am for assembly and 7:00pm on Wednesday night for Bible Study. Come join us and experience what a group of people practicing John 13 (And they will know you are my followers because you love each other) is like. We look forward to seeing you.
