Whether you’ve attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions. At the McDonough Church of Christ, we want to give you the best spiritual experience possible.
What type of church is this?
We are an non-denominational church with people from all backgrounds (no church affiliation, Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, etc.). Whether you’ve been attending church for years or this is your first time, you’ll feel welcome at the McDonough Church of Christ
When are services?
We have bible classes on Sunday at 9:30 am and our Worship service starts at 10:30 am.
We Worship again at 6:00 pm on Sunday. We also have a mid-week Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00.
How do I get there?
We are right down Lake Dow Road in McDonough, GA. At turn off of GA-81

What happens when I arrive?
As you enter, you will see friendly greeters passing out weekly newsletters that contain current information about the church. The greeters can also direct you to our children’s classrooms. Our hope is that you’ll get a chance to meet others and while you wait.
What about my kids?
We have classes for all ages:
- Cradle Roll/Nursery [Ages 0 -2]
- 2s & 3s *
- 4s & 5s
- 1st & 2nd Grades
- 3rd thru 5th Grades
- Middle & High School [Boys & girls meet separately on Wednesday]
- The Nest [Parents with children still living at home]
- The Adult Class
What is service like?
First of all, you won’t be pointed out or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. You will have a meaningful, spiritual experience…and our hope is that you’ll gains something important from the service.
